I usually enjoy Lee Child. But this book was ridiculous. The plot was so far fetched and Jack Reacher was a one man army who took on far more than any army unit would.
The love interest with Holly was laughable/cringeable.
I would have stopped reading after 100 pages but carried on thinking it must improve. How wrong I was!

Book was received as a present as I am a BB fan.
The conversations the book refers to are unbelievably detailed considering there was 20+ years between speaking them and remembering them with such precision bearing in mind Brian's drug addled mind.
The book strikes me of more fiction than fact. Yes, Landy comes out very well but that must be due to the poor control of Todd Gold.
