Given that Our Planet was one of the best nature documentaries ever created, I had really high hopes for this one. It was good and I don’t regret watching, but it could have been SO MUCH better with a little more effort. This feels like a cheap attempt by Netflix to recreate the success of Our Planet while cutting corners on actual storytelling (and scientific facts). Many of the storylines felt like “this happened, then this happened, then this happened” before jumping to a completely unrelated scenario. The animated recreation of an asteroid impact was so clearly not to scale and completely disregarded basic science. Overall it just felt very lazy and rushed. Bit disappointed…
