Off the Grid was such a pleasant surprise. While the story was simple, it was entertaining and engaging—and the emotional thread between Guy and the town was genuinely endearing. That connection gave the film real heart.
Marcus, the hitman, was brilliantly woven throughout the story, adding suspense and intrigue that kept the pace lively. And Greg Kinnear was hilarious. His comedic timing gave the film a fun, unexpected twist.
Chase, the kid in town, added so much charm and innocence to the story. His bond with Guy was especially touching and gave the film a deeper emotional layer. Josie, the bar owner, was another standout—grounded, strong, and full of warmth. Her presence brought a real sense of community and heart.
The cinematography was beautiful, the action was well-executed without being over the top, and the runtime was just right—long enough to be satisfying, but never dragged.
Overall, Off the Grid was a great watch: heartfelt, action-packed, and thoroughly entertaining. Definitely recommend!
