I saw the movie in 3D, which upped my rating from four to five stars. Quite a spectacle, although the creativity and awe value of extraterrestrial people, creatures, plants, etc. was already introduced in the first film. So, except for water creatures being substituted for dinosaurs and dragons, it tends to be the “same old, same old”. A few new mechanical devices that are both independently and human operated are introduced. Lots of action, awesome camera work. A long movie, but I wasn’t looking at my watch, wishing that the movie would end. Go see it!
