A historical account of the struggles of the early settlers in Black River Falls, Wisconsin between 1890 and 1900. I think it was beautifully done in black and white, and respectful of the people mentioned, but it was also very sad/morbid. I like sad/morbid though, particularly from the late19th century, so I enjoyed it thoroughly! I particularly enjoyed the narration, especially when whispering while reading the accounts of the mentally deranged! I want to see more like this.
