Emotionally disjointed - events happen with no plot or character preparation - no through line or feeling of cause and effect - too many ideas. Aristotle said a drama is one action. This movie tries to encompass too many different plots/concepts. In a strong drama every attempt to solve the main problem is the clear cause of the next complication, which must then be solved, and things escalate in this way. That is precisely what this film doesn’t do. One feels it is the first effort of these writers and has probably been over edited, but it looks like the result of inexperience to me. One feels it is reaching towards something interesting but never quite makes it. If you are a writer might be worth watching to see what not to do.
