Ethan Hawke is a very versatile actor whom can portray any type of character he attempts with grace and expertise. I thourally enjoyed seeing him in this disturbing role. Hints of evil without actually saying it. If you use you imagination, its very terrifying. Its hard to scare people these days but when it comes to bad things happening to children, it sends terror into all that can imagine. Excellent movie
