Angel Heath (Star)

Just a fair warning, this review will have spoilers. So I've been wanting to watch this movie since 2024, honestly. It seemed like a really good movie based off of the trailer and usually I don't go checking the reviews because everyone has different opinions. I have a very good stomach to horror movies but this movie made me extremely anxious (mainly because of the needles and I absolutely hate needles) and my stomach was turning and I wanted to throw up. Maybe, I'm just sensitive but if you like horror movies that are disgustingly good then it's definitely a watch. At first this movie was really good... The sound captures every detail down to the bone and so does the camera. What completely caught me off guard was the car crash and how she didn't even have a single scratch on her..? I'd also like to bring up how a lot of women are sexualized which bothers me a bit because the company the women work for in the movie is literally owned by grown men who look like they're in their 50's or something and they're sexualizing young women for entertainment. The ending of the movie also made absolutely no sense. Yes, I understand that this substance that the celebrity takes isn't real and thank goodness it's not but like her turning into a disgusting monster with multiple 'birth defects' and then her just splattering blood all over everyone and being able to regenerate herself is so stupid. Like if she can regenerate herself then why didn't she do that when her leg just decapitated itself (?) and then she fell to the floor and slowly crawled and just disintegrated into blood... Like that just sounds.. stupid really. This movie really had some potential but then fell out at the ended.
