As a Korean, I humbly apologize to the Saudis and other Arabs this show has offended. I just do not understand why the show did it. WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU OFFEND ARABS WHO ARE SO GENEROUS IN THEIR APPRECIATION OF KDRAMAS??? DO YOU WANT TO CREATE FRIENDS OR ENEMIES? It just boggles the mind. I'm guessing they thought it would be funny. Of course they didn't do it to intentionally offend Arabs, but no IT WASN'T FUNNY. IT WAS OFFENSIVE. If a show did this to Asians, I'd be mad too. I totally understand Arabs feel and I stand with them. I believe the showrunners need to do more to address the anger. I ask my fellow Koreans to take responsibility for the mess this show has created and show humility and contrition to Arabs. It's the least we could do. Arabs, may God bless you and guide you. To all who are offended, I'm so sorry and I just wish you the very best.
