The Rehearsal is about Nathan Fielder’s guide through working things out, the problems people admit within the show are rarely overlooked, and often lead to new segments, with emotional depth and comedy often leading to clarity or comedic relief. People’s situations in the show mirror real-life instances like admitting a deep personal secret, or preparing to raise a child, but within those scenes expands into deeper scenes acted out in order to convey a “what could have been” or “what would happen” scenerio, where the future can be molded and perfected into the most flawless iconic scenes of all time. Although not all of the problems adressed are dealt with on camera, there’s a fair amount of working through it that is shown, and can often be emotional or frustrating as the person nathan is helping will sometimes be scared or too nervous and prolong the project. But overall an amazing social project, icing for Nathan For You, and nothing less than a great watch.
