Such an incredible book with fantastic characters! I absolutely adore Robert’s writing style and how realistic he makes this world and the people within it. I cannot recommend this book enough.

I will try to keep it short and sweet: I am not a huge Tool fan although I do really enjoy some of their albums and their talent is absolutely undeniable. That being said, this is clearly an album that was written a while ago, and as a result, it immediately comes off as dated and stale at times. It has some incredible moments, but also as usual, Tool has zero care for your time and they will space out songs for no reason whatsoever. Interludes with zero melody that serve no other purpose but to pad the run time. Danny is the only real highlight here, with Alex having some great moments, but altogether, he sounds exactly the same as two decades ago. As a bassist, this album broke my heart. Zero innovation by Justin and very similar riffs by him all around as 10,000 days. Would it seriously kill this band to try something different?

This is outkasts greatest album in my opinion. I know aquemini is basically perfect, but when it comes to enjoyment this one takes the cake. It has everything in it, and Xplosion is one of my favorite songs by them ever. Bombs over Baghdad introduced me to chopping / speed rapping as a 10 year old and changed my view of what is possible from an MC. This is my desert island rap album, and it should be yours too.

I have read this book 25 times and it has changed my life immensely. I have overcome some of life’s greatest challenges and obstacles (loss of health, job, divorce, family love). I think back to moments in this book often and recently handed my tattered book to a traveling musician here in Denver. I hope it helps him as much as it did for me both as a musician and a human being in general. I love this book. You must read it.

Absolutely incredible and life changing work

Life changing. Every American should be required to read this text. A breathtakingly painful first person account of the atrocities of slavery. This is the only book to have me in absolute tears multiple times, and I read books daily 9 years later thanks to my experience reading this text. A MUST READ. The movie is fantastic too

There was more filler in this book than a lot of Stephen's work. Overall I give it a 7 out of 10, and it is worth reading but not his best work overall. Apparently it's his "scariest" which may be true but other than a few parts it's not very scary.
