Sheridan Smith portrays Ann Ming with her exceptional acting abilities she is right into her character portrayal of this true story of an ordinary woman whose married daughter was brutally murdered and she bravely tries to overturn the law on double jeapordy cases I am watching each episode on ITV at 9pm and have yet to watch the final episode on ITV the story portrays how lacking the police were in response to a missing person and how Ann overturned their attitude towards this as well as overturning the 800 yr old law as the murderer confesses after the trial and how they still couldn’t prosecute him a well acted drama all round of a very brave woman stricken with grief of the murder of her beloved daughter
