They focus too much on the television aspect and less on the real bbq and chef aspect. You can tell that certain contestants stay for the television aspects and some leave because of the same thing. It should be a show focused on technical aspects not the old school “entertainment” get Gordon Ramsey if you need too, or just be more authentic.
