Ok let’s first get the negatives out of the way- no lighter moments, it was intense from start to finish, none of the songs have chartbuster potential and the violence was gory. Deserves the 15 age rating. Now the positives - excellent acting by NTR and Ramcharan, superb screenplay that will suck you in and keep you hooked, fantastic cinematography, grandiose presentation and several goosebump (Rajamouli) moments. My rating 4/5. It will become the biggest hit in Telugu film history but may not replicate Bahubali’s success outside the Telugu states. It will be a great hit and a much talked about film but not reach Bahubali level. However I have to say this - we continue to go to his movies with high expectations and Rajamouli continues to meet them. When compared to general Bollywood movie fare this was magic. Of course every adult must see but please spare the children. It is not for them.
