This is a fantastic romantic kdrama. It is lighthearted and is one of the few romantic kdramas that I've seen (and I've watched a lot) that has realistic romantic interactions between the two leads, which is so refreshing. They actually act like a normal couple - showing signs of affection, kissing, and generally are excited to be together. I anxiously wait for each episode to air.
I get so frustrated with Kdramas portraying thirty-something year olds like asexual 12 year olds. Seriously, as much as I love Kdramas, it is ridiculous how every drama seems to be okay with suicide, murder, abusive coworkers, controlling parents, but somehow any sort of sexual interaction is too adult?!? It is not surprising how the marriage and childbirth rates are so low in Korea when the shows seem to glorify platonic relationships. King of the Land is such a pleasant change from this!!!
As far as the all of the one-star reviews, most are politically motivated because of the perceived racism of the Arab prince character. If you read them, you will see most of those reviews are copied and pasted.
