I see that this book hurt a lot of old people and I can kinda understand.
But, this is actually a great book. I wanted to DM a Dark Fantasy (a la Darkest Dungeon) on D&D and it gave me the tools. Amazing.
Point is: I didn't read the older Ravenloft books, thus, there aren't changes for me to compare, even then I didn't felt the need to read anything more — I myself have the tools now to change and adapt any of the characters into anything I want. That's the whole point, isn't? They nailed it and I loved.
