This show just is in that much of a dire need to end. It is very evident to see that modern day Simpsons fails to garner any attention aside from causing controversy similar to what Family Guy does. What made the show so great in the first place was that the writers literally committed themselves into staying in the same room for eleven hours straight drafting one single episode. They also tried their best to avoid using crude humor, cheap jokes, and slapstick gags, something you would find in modern day Family Guy. Either the current writers don't even care to capture what made the show great in the first place, or Fox is beating a dead horse and being too reliant on this and Family Guy to stay afloat. It's time both shows gets cancelled so their legacies will not continue to be tarnished.
