I just finished this book yesterday (spoiler warning). I enjoyed reading this for the last four months and thought that Richard Matheson did a good job on explaining this virus with science and what the character goes through every day in this apocalypse. But the page time for the vampires in action is really bad, we only get to see one chapter with the vampires in. This idea is new since it's an apocalypse with vampires not zombies, so it would've been better to see them more. The end was rushed, with this 'new society' that the vampires are building, I didn't understand that. And I don't like the idea of vampires being able to be alive during the day when they are supposed to be dead. But overall it was still a good book, but there's a lot that could've been better.
