It's very rare for me to feel excited to sit through an entire movie at once, let alone more than once. But Challengers caught my attention and kept it. Phenomenal character dynamics, unique cinematography, interesting plot structure, and of course, hot, hot, hot. My perspective is aided by my attraction to all three leads, but that wasn't even my focus coming out of the theater either time I went to see it. All I could talk about was the fascinating parallels between each character's journeys, what tennis represented to them, and their biggest flaws within relationships. It is a drama, and it does involve very flawed, very complex characters. If you (like me) enjoy a vaguely bisexual character study on the relationship between sports, sex, tension, and victory, this is definitely going to be your cup of tea.
