Brilliantly wrote, Harper Lee perfectly describes the ideology of childhood and the effects of discrimination. Set along South Alabama the book easily absorbs you in, letting you escape the world for a while. Will re-read over and over. 9.5/10 Kevin 2019

A book about greed and what they do to humans, Steinbeck sets the mood perfectly. The pace is fast yet realistic. However I believe the characters aren't believable and people won't go to such extents to get rich. Overall a good read 6.5/10 Kevin 2019

A great read about friendship, hopes, dreams, and fate. This book combines everything a short novel needs - believable realistic characters, development, and an ending that leaves many questions unanswered yet makes one feel relieved. Combined with the 1920's depression and setting along with discrimination this is a perfect book. 9/10 for unanswered plot holes, will read again Kevin 2019
