One of the absolute BEST mini series Netflix has put out in a long time. It's an absolute shame that the children majority of reviewers are not prevy to the deeper meaning behind it all. The ending absolutely touched me to the core.
Spoiler alert for those who missed the point:
The son created Eric in the image of how he sees his father. Father then sees the truth of his situation when tracking down his son through the eyes of Eric and his sons other drawings.
Moral of the story? Our children know us in the most intimate of ways. I'm fact, they know us better than we know ourselves. Yet time and time again we fail to see the image they see of us. Sometimes resulting in self destruction.
Something along those lines. Lol
Put the phone/game/drugs/booze/whatever that keeps you distracted and love your babies. Even if they are not babies anymore.
