Brown Sahara

I have followed Tyler Perry for a very long time. I enjoy watching most of his movies. When I watch predominantly white movies like Hallmark or LMN, I don't see alot of overly exposed body parts and sex. In the show Beauty in Black seeing a black man or women openly getting pounded is demoralizing. It takes me back to slavery where blacks were sexualized and exploited; as if, that's all we are good for and tends to be very telling. Our community have also fought so hard with contesting the usage of the word Nigga and how loosely they use Nigga and Bitch in the show can be off-putting. The show has a very good storyline, but I can enjoy the show without the extra.

I really enjoyed this movie, loved the graphics and the storyline.
