I remember I grew up listening from people who I came across randomly and also my family members (as am born and brought up in a Pandit family) heard family members saying many a times “Kashmiri panditon ke sath bahut bura hua” and all such things I used to think that it must be some part of our history like so many incidences happened in past 50 years, toh kaun Dhyan de. Never read it anywhere during school and nobody taught us too (Ofcourse!).
Anyway, as maturity drew in, read about it few years back and felt really terrible. But still, some part of mine didn’t actually felt the way I should actually feel (ofcourse nobody can until they experience the way ‘they’ did).
Yesterday night I went to see this movie with my parents. It’s not just a mind blowing or a mind numbing Film. It’s an emotion that will make you stick to your seat and everytime there will be torture shown on screen, you have to close your eyes. In the middle of the movie you will feel like if you should leave this movie because you’re not able to bear it, but you won’t be able to leave. It took 32 years for the truth to come out and my words would not do justice to this man Mr. Vivek agnihotri.
The truth should come out! The truth of how Hindus and Sikhs were massacred and thrown out of their own native land.
The truth how these anti-nationals and communists do conspiracies and propagandas and brainwash people towards their goal to break Indian.
It’s a hard-hitting and remarkable film that tells the brutally honest and unfiltered truth about the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus. The endless tales of human suffering and torture must be watched by every Indian. It must be so so difficult even for the terrorists in the movie to play such a role. The movie is engaging and has some heart-wrenching and disturbing visuals that will stay with you forever.
My respect to Mr.Agnihotri and each and every cast member is beyond words and gestures.
May god bless this cinema, the Cinema that we actually need.
It’s a missing chapter of our education.
Last but not the least, It’s not a Must watch movie, it’s a necessary watch movie.
Jai Hind!
