Without his family, without the titles, you have an average actress with a moderately successful lifestyle website, and a low-level soldier. There would be no global notoriety.
There are two sides to every coin, without media, there is no publicity. As Diana learned, the media beast is impossible to control. To believe that you can control your narrative is incredibly naive. Every public figure endures both positive and negative press.
They used a minority of Twitter comments to support the racism claims. Those comments were putrid, but like everything these two do, there is an exaggerated bias towards their own victim mentality. They ignored the fact that most people adored her prior to the wedding. People were ecstatic.
The comparison to Medieval Times was despicable. The Queen spent 70 years in service, show some respect to an extraordinary woman.
