The production value is clearly very good but I'm afraid this is where the plaudits stop.
In a nut shell, the movie is slow and the story telling repetitive. The actors do the best they can with what is essentially an intergalactic arachnid that specialises in psychology and guilt tripping, who 'helps' Sandlers character realise that it is selfish to have dreams and ambition when you have a wife. Or perhaps you shouldn't have professional dreams/ambitions if you are going to have a baby with your spouse? So, maybe a different approach to family planning advice? Lol at this point, all I know is... Don't try to be anything ambitious, if your wife; who should love and support you, doesn't want you to. It's selfish.
