As someone with deep Native ancestry (Shawnee), I appreciated the tribal collaboration and faithful story telling. It was awesome to see the representation and culturally specific humor. There are some nice little cultural easter eggs in there as well. In a time where streaming services blatantly ignore any celebration, or even mention, of Native American Heritage Month each year, it's refreshing to see that there are still some entertainment companies that haven't forgotten we still exist. That we are warriors and survivors.
My one and only complaint is that this show didn't come out 20 years ago.
