The Holdovers is a throwback movie to times when characters were real people who dealt with real life situations. It is not one of these current flicks with silly graphics or supposed deeper meanings. It is about real life; people with baggage who do their best to help one another when times get tough. I hope it wins ever Oscar it is nominated for.
