The movie is a hot mess. The characters do many things that just don't make any sense based on previous movies and this movie seems to be aimed at purely killing off as many of the classic characters as possible. It all just feels very forced and it is a major disappointment. Casino Royal and Skyfall were excellent, this was terrible.

Too much family drama and Lord of the Flies stuff and not enough aliens. It probably be saves a lot of money on special effects but so far there is little alien invasion and too many moping people. I have honestly never seen a show where it is so hard to sympathize with the main characters. The women are overly hysterical and all the characters make inexplicably stupid decisions that get them or others killed. Just poor writing all over.

It's ok at times but the whole premise relies on the main characters having no common sense, which becomes really annoying after a while. Naomi Harris's character in particular is painfully stupid and has to score high on the list of worst ever mothers.

The show is ok but has a lot more potential. Hiddleston is decent in the role as always. Owen Wilson is badly miscast in the role as Mobius though and it really shows; he is just not funny, can't deliver the lines and has very poor chemistry with Hiddleston.
