Billy Reed and I shared more than two decades as sports writers at The Courier-Journal in Louisville. During those years the Bingham-owned publication was among the nation' most respected newspapers and Billy was its most heralded sports reporter. One of my major privileges was working alongside Reedd, who remains a great story-teller.
