It’s a great movie although, not a movie that can be reviewed succinctly because the characters have more than a surface level of complexity. I think it could be classified as a western love story but it goes a lot deeper than that and points to ideas that are very pertinent to our era.

One of the best science fiction shows ever.

If you like sci-fi and a sexy, somewhat erotic cast of characters with a decent story, you should like this.

It’s a slow moving very sensual drama about an ancient mythology. The myth is really just used as a vehicle to deal with common problems of love and loss.

It’s a very good series about a struggling young woman in a emotionally abusive relationship. It’s really more about bullying and intimidation with the underlying threat of violence. I think it’s a good thing for men to watch to become more self aware of the psychological consequences of emotional intimidation. Of course, emotional abuse isn’t solely the domain of men but this series focuses on one of the ways men do it. There’s a lot to think about in this series. It’s not a cut and dry situation and people can have various different valid opinions on the topics presented.

It’s a very great story about a situation that is rarely discussed without serious judgmental criticisms of the mother. Being a parent is a huge commitment and for some women, it’s a soul crushing experience in the opinion of the main character. Everyone that’s thinking about having children should watch something like this.

It’s a well written and acted series with a great story. No drugs, murder or psychopaths so naturally it’s canceled after one season.

Interesting and entertaining. A little far fetched, but what else is new.

I watched the first episode and thought this was just an empty titillating show involving sex and drugs and so I stopped watching it until a friend suggested that I keep watching it with them. The show turns out to be an excellent series with great acting and a compelling commentary about addictions and human behavior. It has a bit of gratuitous sexual scenes but it says more about our values regarding sex then anything else. Why is abundant gratuitous violence so much more acceptable by our society? I heartily recommend this series.
