I found this series captivating and can't wait for Season 2. It started out feeling like Parks and Recreation, Arctic version, but evolved into something that very much had its own flavor and personality, with more complex characters than you usually see in a quirky comedy series. Exhibit A: Neevee, Siaja's mother. She's a former alcoholic, single mother, and handled with tenderness and layering ... in a sit-com, of all places. And I love that this show's light hand on serious topics doesn't overwhelm the humor, the window into Inuk culture or the plotlines. Highly recommend.
