The filming was beautiful, the acting excellent, but the storyline was a drag. Very much โit is what it isโ with no surprises, twists, or turns. I wanted to route for many of the characters, but it was challenging to get behind them. The whole movie was depressing, start to finish- yes, I understand thatโs history and itโs my fault to hope at the end of the 3 hours to leave feeling some kind of fulfillment.
