Polyphony and Sony have taken their extreme large and loyal fan base for a ride. Not only have they lost their minds and become greedy they have 0 consideration for all those who looked forward to what was supposed to be the best game of the year. I beg all who see their review and are considering buying the game PLEASE DO NOT BUY IT until the issues have been fixed. Following are some of the prominent issues 1) Unfair pricing of cars / Nerfing credits - Some of the most expensive cars in the game are 20 million credits and the highest paying race is 70k, that equates to roughly doing a 10 min race 300 times to be able to buy ONE CAR. 3000 minutes for ONE CAR and you can’t even sell the car later on. Users complained about this issue earlier on and polyphony went and halved the race payouts in some cases just to ad further agony to the community and ruin their experience. 2) Micro transactions - in GT SPORT most cars could be attained by ₹200-₹400 via micro transactions. Those same cars cost on average ₹900-₹1600 in this game. PER CAR. If you want to buy the above mentioned 20 million car only through micro transactions you have to be ₹16000 in real money. That is absolutely over the limit. 16 THOUSAND FOR ONE CAR. In order to make the game more realistic PD has made all most all the cars that we really want to drive absolutely inaccessible. What is the point of 500+ cars in a game when we can’t even drive the ones we want. 3) Realism taken too far - I can understand that the mclaren F1 is a rare car and hence should cost a lot in game but making it so inaccessible is not on. Please understand. THIS IS A GAME AND PEOPLE PLAY IT FOR ENJOYMENT. Nobody has 20 hours to sink into a game just to be able to afford one single car. We cannot do the same race 400 times just to be able to drive our favourite cars. People have jobs and school/college to attend. As you can see 0 thinking has gone into this game and the community as a whole is extremely disappointed at how greed has ruined such a legendary franchise. There are tons more issues to speak about but I hope form what I have written this review stops at least 1 person from wasting their hard earned money on this game until issues are fixed.
