Gladiator 2 is very unoriginal with the main protagonist having the most unessesary convoluted back story. Very weak writing with monologs that feel like a chore to watch. The fighting felt very super hero. Denzel was amazing as always and felt the most in character. The emperors were also great along with Pedro Pascal. The intro felt like a roman D day and was a spectacular sight and experience. They should've went with a more original story instead of adding to the last.
