Started watching the movie with no idea about the film. Warmed to the bonds formed between humans and quirky (ro)bots and the unexpected twists and carnival adventures. Unusual yet very appealing to a range of audiences from children to older adults. Light-weight entertainment with some moving moments, likable characters, great sets and special effects. Nostalgic with a sci- fi bent reworking of AI. Basically a good old fashioned romp.

A wonderful movie with a powerful message about the impact of war on those trained to fight for their country. The notion of a wounded man and dog gradually bonding and regaining trust through shared experience and understanding was uplifting. Sad the lives shattered by trauma and the way it destroys multiple relationships and lives. Uplifting to see the growing love and devotion develop between damaged characters. Easy, interesting and moving viewing.

Enter a quirky world with surreal sets, jaunty music, credible8 acting, a cavalcade of fights and lots of action. Russian mafia thugs meet John Wicks' little sister and her gang of do or die buddies. Suspend belief and sit back for some bloody fun. Under-rated by those unable to see the merit of making a movie with extreme characters and situations that was a slick production given the genre. Strong female cast and menacing bad men. Was pleasantly surprised to leave reality for a while and thoroughly entertained.

Starts off slowly then increases momentum. The blurring of fiction and fact are interesting. Solid acting, sound script, wonderful music and costumes, slick production and direction. Something was missing despite being spectacular on multiple levels. Brad Pitt was fantastic. Little rapport was felt for other characters. No idea why, but this movie was well-crafted and provided entertainment yet lacked a core. Well worth watching. Not a patch on Babylon, which received worse reviews.
