I wouldn't recommend watching this right after bingewatching the original 5 Planet of the Apes movies. This one was loosely based, but close enough that I was wishing they had either just kept the same storyline and characters, or changed it up a lot more. Some decent action, yet some was a bit over the top. I had mixed feelings on the ending, but I guess it fit.
