Although I never read the books, I am and always have been a huge fan of greek mythology. The 2 movies before this series came to be is what sparked my interest in the topic. Everyone loves to hate on the movies but they were 1000x better than this series. Half the scenes in this new adaptation make no sense, like when Percy (SPOILER AHEAD) beat Ares with just one cut to his leg set me off, It makes ZERO sense. The fighting scenes, characters, and all around plot from the earlier movies compared to this series was so much more entertaining to watch even today. The fact that the Sea of Monsters movie left us on a cliffhanger after the fleece revived Thalia just makes it all the more disappointing there wasn't a third installment. Nevertheless, I do have hope that this series will get better overtime as the cast mature and get older. I just hope the plot and action starting making sense because these combat scenes and plot is just all over the place.
