Langsuanpao Seldo (Reuben Seldo)

Not bad, not good. The new DCAU have yet to impress me, and this entry did nothing to help. Also, that Aquaman subplot was totally unnecessary.

Truly one of the best movies-you-probably-never-heard-of of 2018/2019. Loved the whole not-so-subtle diatribe at 'other-ing' prevalent today. A great blend if sci-fi/horror, keeps you engaged without letting off. 7.5/10.

I want my Chucky possessed by the spirit of a deranged killer, not an Internet-of-Killer-Things. The supernatural element was what made Child's Play intriguing. While I appreciate Mark Hamill's iteration, this movie just doesn't do it for me. 5/10.

Watch the Director's Cut, the theatrical cut didn't do justice to the film.

Another solid entry from the Korean auteur. Bong Jooh-ho can do no wrong. Amazing would be an understatement, so in the immortal words Mary Poppins, I'm going to call this supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Terrible when it came out, still terrible today. Can't believe I even gave this a rewatch. Ugh.

Oh, dear... This has got Logan Paul in it. If that doesn't tell you to avoid it like the plague, then I don't know what will?

It's a McG film, go in with extremely low expectations and you probably won't be disappointed. Probably. Personally, I think this movie should be locked away in a deep, dark dungeon somewhere, throw away the key, and then burn the dungeon down. Don't even bother subjecting your eyes this torture of a movie. Awful. Awful!

Solid flick. Immensely enjoyable. I mean, it's undead, super-soldier Nazis, for goodness' sake! 7/10. The only thing that would elevate this movie from being "good" to "great" would be to introduce Hitler riding a goddamn T-Rex with lasers attached to its head. Eh well, perhaps in the sequel, maybe? A guy can dream.

Saw this movie way back when and still think it's one the most criminally underrated movies in the horror genre. The movie is not so much about the creatures in the Mist, but the nature of man in times of crisis and utter desperation. The ending is a gut-punch and even got Stephen King's approval which went he so far as to say that he liked Darabont's interpretation of the ending better than his and that he wished he had written it that way. Though the effects may be a little dated, the movie still holds up in terms of atmosphere, creep factor, etc. If you're a fan of Lovecraft and lovecraftian creatures/monsters, you'll surely enjoy this one.
