Victoria Whitworth masterfully revisits some familiar Greek myths, but this time from the often overlooked female perspective. She weaves them seamlessly into her own personal, often harrowing, experience of being a young woman in Greece, Albania and beyond. Her bravery, honesty and beautiful writing all took my breath away. Hearing her read her own story, in the audiobook version, with such authenticity and skill added a very personal touch.
