From a visual point of view, the film was an impressive feat in recreating 18th century locations and battles. But other than that, I felt the film didn’t offer a whole lot. The acting was ok but the dialogue was a bit bland and the film didn’t really provide much insight about the characters. Nor did the film delve go into the politics of the Napoleonic era in much detail. Not bad but not memorable
