Absolutely amazing first episode. The only critique is that it didn’t focus too much on dinosaurs but it’s prehistoric planet, not planet dinosaur and the rest of the episodes will probably make up for it. Overall, one of the best nature documentaries using CGI I’ve seen and it understands people want to see the animals it advertises not just people talking or showing non-CGI modern animals to save money like Alien Worlds on Netflix did. In fact, other than the first minute or two David Attenborough is never seen again and he’s the only person shown. To summarize, based on the first episode, prehistoric planet is going to be everything everyone was hoping and more.
