And the winner for worst actor in the dramatic series is. . . . Daveed Diggs! 👏 This cluster of a show has no back story for what happens in the first episode. We have no idea who these people are, how they got there, who they left behind, how long they’ve been there, how do they go to the bathroom, how they are kept from breeding. Not to mention that the science behind this is totally unbelievable. If the survival system is as scientifically precise as they say - specific amount of food for a specific number of people - why didn’t the ruling class just throw them off the train to start with? If - as some have suggested - the rich people need the tailies as replacements for engineers, waiters, low level positions, why wasn’t that accounted for when they made the train instead of making people fight for places on it as it was leaving? Or why, after the Hulk kills about 20 boot jacks, didn’t they just take 20 of the “tailies” & bring them forward to train as replacements? And where are all those 2nd & 3rd class people? And how big IS this train anyway? You go down a ladder to carts on a track running underneath the whole length of the 1001 car train. Each car looks a different size - agriculture cars looking 4 times the size of the cars where the “tailies” are living mushed together on top of each other. A car housing an entire delicate saltwater ecosystem - seriously?? SPOILER ALERT: no wonder the outstanding actor Mark Margolis hung himself in the 1st episode.

Joe needs to STFU - or leave This show has great guests and great co-hosts (Willie Geist, Mike Barnacle, Eugene Robinson, Katty Kay, Donnie Deutsch) but O. M. G. - Joe Scarborough interrupts everyone, screams with outrage, and CONSTANTLY talks about himself - his time in Congress, his childhood, etc. Everything is ME, ME, ME. It's so prevalent that I started timing how long he talks. Or how long he'll let a guest talk before interrupting with some diatribe - usually involving himself. The guests almost always have less time to talk than Joe the host because of his ego. This man just LOVES to hear himself talk. He's becoming the Chris Matthews of MSNBC. I've tried so long to put up with this because I like everyone else on the show, but now I just mute the volume when he's on the screen, or often just change the channel. I truly don't understand how a strong professional educated woman like Mika puts up with him. And frequently you see host and guests visibly uncomfortable. My hope is that he'll give in to his enormous ego and go run for office somewhere, or become a professional musician, anything that gets him off the show. Once another network gets a good morning show, I'm outta there.

Beautiful, funny, sad, brilliant movie.
