So Happy to Review this Book! First, let me say, I wondered if I should read this book, as I am Caucasian... actually, I have a good bit of Cherokee blood running through my veins but, just as I began wondering, I heard (audiobook) something like 'half white, half Mexican' and mentioned he (author) never felt he fit in with either. It was then I stopped paying any heed to my thoughts and listened intently, from that moment to the reading of the last words if the last chapter in the book. ----- I WAS MESMERIZED ----- I absolutely adore this book, and the narration, in my opinion, was better than best! Actually, I learned more in this audiobook than I have a great many others... and there have been over 100 "others". So, I feel that's quite an achievement! I may be no scholar but, I am very well read in this particular genre and, I place this title on the top of my list of hardcover's to purchase. I assure you, if you choose to read (or listen) to this title, you'll be so happy you did. 🌠
