Laugh out loud funny in parts. Unless you are female, 50 or over, and have stayed in touch with friends over the years then you are unlikely to get it. Some subtle and clever observations about the complex group dynamics between female “friends”. It captures discomfort, forced jollity, and the shoulds and oughts feelings of women trying too hard to have fun. Thoroughly enjoyed it and it’s realistic portrayal of older women struggling with normal life stages .
