Completely missed the mark. It's a brand new and far more silly and light-hearted direction for the series, which Zoids has never been before. The "10-12" target age bracket is misleading, this would be more suitable for 5-8 years of age. The enemies are overly silly and characterised bumbling idiots wearing BDSM leather and makeup, the Zoids are miniaturised and for the first time are so small they do not even have cockpits. The heroes are impossibly cartoony with senselessly complicated and extreme haircuts and equally explosive ADHD-like behaviour. This series was a massive swing and a miss for Zoids. Avoid it at all costs.
