I loved this film. MM shows her dramatic skills, she is utterly convincing in this role as a mentally unstable young woman. Richard Widmark and Anne Bancroft are difficult to fault at any time delivering solid performances. With a great supporting cast in Jim Backus, Lurene Tuttle and Elisha Cook Jr. A great script. This is a winner.
