This is by far my favourite 'Wolverine' centric or Marvel film. I simply love this film.

Disappointed. A visual delight more than anything.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the film, I enjoyed it a lot. I was a little unsure on what the film would be like as I purchased it from a second-hand shop for £0.50, however, with Statham, De-Niro and Owen I took the small risk and glad that I did.

I received the box set for a Christmas gift (2021) and I have to say that this is the best sci-fi series I have ever seen, love it, love it, love it! The writing, the characters, the costumes, the actors (of course!), everything is sublime.

What an awful film! I loved the 'Suicide Squad' but 'The Suicide Squad' is not worth writing a review...dreadful!

What a shame this film did not deliver on what could of been a classic. "The Assassin" had the framework for a great film but the story line was simply missing or non-existent, flitting from scene to scene with no purpose or thought. It felt like the director was concentrating on the individual components of a story, trying to be too clever, when it first needed simplicity to hold it together, i.e., a start, a middle and an end. I hope Shu Qi gets another chance to show her talents as this film really let her down.

This is not just a great chinese historical movie but a really good film overall. An intriguing story of an empress (Gong Li) living in a patriarchy who has simply had enough of being dominated to the point of insanity, will she exert her revenge? Gong Li is brilliant in this film, the energy she puts in to potray the empress is brilliant!
