The series ends with "Tremors: Shrieker Island" and it did not disappoint. Character development is mostly on point, CGI is top notch and the ending is a proper farewell to a character that has been there since the franchise began. If it weren't for some underdeveloped characters, some slow-motion camera shots not needed, and a weak connection between Burt and Jas, this would've been a perfect finale. But, as it stands, it's an enjoyable movie. Massive thanks to Micheal Gross for your outrageous performance and we'll always remember that life and survival starts in the mind. Very strong 3.5/5

Expectations for "Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell" were somewhat low since the last movie, but somehow, they managed to make a decent film. The story is clear enough to follow, with a good amount of foreshadowing, and nice character development. Not to mention a good amount of references from the first film, telling the viewers that they put a lot of love into this. This film may be a cold day, but it has a warm impact that leaves an underrated impression. 3.5/5

The revived era of the franchise begins with "Tremors 5: Bloodlines", and I am NOT impressed. Awkwardly timed, shaking the camera in some areas, unexplained Graboid mutation in the African territory, and some embarrassing areas in both the plot and dialogue. Despite the CGI and Michael Gross' performance going wild, this is the most disgusting film I've seen in a long time. With only two movies left, it's only going to go underground from here; literally. STRONG 2/5.

I was worried about "Tremors 3: Back to Perfection", because of its PG rating, towing down what makes the franchise unique. After seeing this film, I admit that I was impressed by the overall presentation, Micheal Gross' performance, and different Graboids that came out of the blue. The short-lived TV series continued from here, but I enjoyed the entire trilogy for what it is. 3.5/5.

I appreciate what "Tremors 2: Aftershocks" is trying to do here. The Graboids changed into something more complicated and dangerous, which works to the film's advantage. The stakes are somewhat higher, but it felt like an understatement. There are a few references from the first film, which I can admire as well. It's an okay sequel and a proper follow-up for Earl Basset. 3.5/5

Even though the prequel movie didn't help me understand the franchise better, the original "Tremors" definitely did it. Performances are on point, the visual effects are good, and the story about acceptance through circumstances is well taught through action alone. Highly recommended for a horror/western audience. 4/5

Finally decided to give the Tremors film series a chance. And, to be honest, "Tremors 4: The Legend Begins" is a bad start to begin with, in terms of story and structure. At least, the character development was decent enough, and Black Hand Kelly is the only likable character out of all of them. But, those alone won't save the franchise by a long shot. Nothing but a missing target which is terribly shot at. 2/5

During my screenwriting classes online, my instructor highlighted this movie several times. So, I finally decided to take a look at "The Breakfast Club" and see if it's worth looking into. To be honest, I'm glad that I did. The cast is great and the reason for those people in detention is well explained to give people to care about each one. Highly recommended drama film, period. 4/5

Personally not a fan of drama films, but "Cast Away" is one of those films that I can accept and appreciate. Tom Hanks carries the whole experience for me, and the story of self-discovery carried through. There are better drama films out there, but this is among the best films Tom Hanks has been a part of. 4.5/5
