it was honestly a bit of a miss? i didnt really understand the chaotic plot, and not to mention the terrible character development throughout the season… maybe i’m the wrong age, but what they could have made a dark mystery with some fantasy elements and no ‘gen z’ humor (the writers seriously missed on what our generation finds relatable or funny) then it would have been amazing. i legit only enjoyed the scenes with morticia addams, jenna ortega captured the role of wednesday but even she said in an interview that some lines she was questioning whether the character would actually say that. honestly the visuals were really nice and stuff, but i’m not really sure what the target audience is meant to be here. what could have been similar to one of us is lying turned out to be something just pathetically cringe and made me ick half the time. ‘this kittys got claws’ SERIOUSLY? 😭 the plot was a miss and 3/4 of the time it didnt even feel like a mystery, honestly watch this if you’re between the ages of 10-13 but any older than that youll be fine

THIS MOVIE WAS AMAZING?? ever since i was four i was a literal die hard nintendo fan, mario was the only thing i played all day long. i basically had 4 nintendo consoles. anyways this movie was amazing, i was expecting something boring and childish due to the age rating (pg) but when i went and saw it i was honestly shocked at how iconic and amazing it was. ALL the references to all the nintendo games were so cool it was honestly a trip down memory lane. the characters were presented EXACTLY like in the games and all the ‘comedic’ parts were actually funny. i was shocked at how on point everything was and the 70s-90s music added to it!! i loved all the references and how everything basically made sense to someone who loves mario and nintendo. honestly amazing its a must see!! dont listen to the low ratings, they’re honestly brainless idiots and u need to see this for urself!! even if u dont necessarily play mario games this movie is so good!! 11/10
