Judging a book by it’s prime coloured cover, I picked this one up from a free, bird-house-style library near my neighbourhood. I’ve just set my copy of Come To Grief down on my balcony table and I long for it already! The story strange, but not gratuitous; the writing is simple, but electrifying; made me cry more than once. I couldn’t more highly recommend this beautiful story of the absurd nature of human beings.
